The Lyra Choir was founded in 1953 and has enjoyed making beautiful music ever since!

We are a mixed voice community choir, singing under the direction of Professor Emeritus Alvin Reimer. We offer an opportunity to come together to sing, to improve the voice and to enhance our understanding and knowledge of music. We host concerts at the German Canadian Club as well as other venues within and around our community.

The choir typically meets Monday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the German Canadian Club for choir rehearsals, and are always looking  for new singers.
